Terms and Conditions

Platform Role

Shahinat acts as a digital marketplace that connects shipping companies (Shippers) with transport companies (Transporters). Shahinat does not own vehicles, operate transport services, or act as a carrier unless explicitly stated.

Eligibility & Registration

All users must provide accurate, complete, and valid company information and required documentation. Shahinat reserves the right to verify, approve, suspend, or reject any account at its discretion.

Pricing & Platform Fees

• The Shahinat platform is free of charge for the first three (3) months from the date of registration.
• After the free period, platform usage fees will apply.
• All platform fees are charged exclusively to Transport Companies, not Shippers.
• The platform remains completely free for Shippers at all times.

Payment Flow

• Shippers make payments to Shahinat through the platform for confirmed bookings.
• Shahinat deducts the agreed platform commission from the Transport Company.
• The remaining balance is settled with the Transport Company according to the agreed terms.
• Commission rates are agreed separately between Shahinat and each Transport Company.

Off-Platform Transactions

• Any communication, booking, payment, or agreement conducted outside the Shahinat platform is strictly excluded from Shahinat's responsibility.
• If a Shipper and a Transport Company connect via the platform but complete the transaction externally, Shahinat bears no liability for disputes, losses, delays, or damages.
• Shahinat is responsible only for transactions completed and paid for within the platform.

Shipments & Liability

• Transport Companies are solely responsible for handling, securing, organizing, and delivering shipments.
• This includes cargo safety, compliance, and condition throughout the transport process.
• Shahinat is not liable for loss, damage, delay, or mishandling unless caused directly by platform technical failure.

Insurance

• Cargo insurance is the responsibility of the Transport Company unless otherwise agreed.
• Optional insurance services may be requested through Shahinat.
• Any additional insurance provided through the platform is subject to external costs and third-party terms.

Compliance with Qatar Laws

• All users must comply with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar.
• Any violations, disputes, or legal matters shall be governed and resolved in accordance with Qatari law.
• Shahinat operates fully under applicable Qatari commercial, transport, and digital platform regulations.

Service Availability

Shahinat aims to ensure continuous platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, upgrades, or external factors may result in temporary disruptions.

Suspension & Termination

Shahinat reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.

Amendments

Shahinat may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Governing Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.
